The Institute Of Law & Economics is an affiliate of
Holborn College, London England and a teaching institution
for the University of London, LLB external students. We
offer LLB tutorials locally to aid Distance Learning
Students in the preparation for examinations.
Distance Learning at Holborn College
 For
those who for personal, financial or logistical reasons
cannot attend full or part-time courses. Holborn College has
developed a successful range of distance learning programmes
which are followed by students in the UK and overseas.
Examinations can normally be taken locally, thus making it
possible for students to obtain an internationally
recognised qualification without having to leave home. Distance Learning students studying for the University of
Huddersfield LLB and for the Holborn Diplomas in Law
subjects have contact with the module/subject leaders
through email, audio-cassette, presentations and through
Workshops which are held in London. Students studying for
the LLM directed study modules may attend these Workshops
where appropriate.
Students taking the New York Bar Finals Review Course by
distance learning can attend, a dedicated distance learning
weekend in London and take a "mock" examination at the
College. "

Distance Learning at University of London
For those who for personal, financial or logistical
reasons cannot attend full or part-time courses.The University of London has developed a successful range
of distance learning programmes which are followed by
students in the UK and overseas. Examinations can normally
be taken locally, thus making it possible for students to
obtain an internationally recognised qualification without
having to leave home.
Diploma programmes are also offered and done over a two
year period. These required courses are equivalent to the
first year courses needed for an LLB programme and students
can upgrade to an LLB after successful completion of the
diploma programme.
Students can contact University personnel with any queries
about the program via the internet as the online response is
available and efficient.
